powerHouse Books Portfolio Review
powerHouse Books, the premiere conceptual publisher of art photography and innovative illustrated books, proudly presents the powerHouse Portfolio Review.
The powerHouse Portfolio Review is a platform for all levels of aspiring and professional photographers to present their body of work to be reviewed and critiqued by leading experts in the fields of photography, art, and media, and to offer guidance and mentorship for future artistic and commercial career development.
The first powerHouse Portfolio Review was held on Sunday, February 20th, 2005 at the powerHouse Gallery, located at 68 Charlton Street (two blocks south of Houston, between Hudson and Varick). The Review was an astounding success, with 113 attendees and a 37-member *panel of experts. Each attendee was assigned four to five one-on-one reviews with members of our panel.
