Causing a Scene:
Extraordinary Pranks in Ordinary Places
with Improv Everywhere

by Charlie Todd and Alex Scordelis

Wednesday, June 10, from 7–9PM
The powerHouse Arena
37 Main Street, Brooklyn

Join us at the powerHouse Arena for a video projection, talk, and book signing with Charlie Todd and Alex Scordelis, the most notorious pranksters of the Internet age.

Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere's creator and mastermind, tells the hilarious tales behind the infamous pranks that launched the group from an Internet sensation to a global phenomenon, and provides readers with the tools to create their own mirthful mayhem through joyful pranking.

From their legendary fake U2 rooftop concert to "freezing" Grand Central Station, Improv Everywhere has achieved cult status for their hilarious "missions" involving thousands of "agents" performing ingenious, good-hearted charades for unwitting souls around the world.

Causing a Scene features the funny pranks that made the group mainstream media darlings and offers inside tips and advice to help wannabe pranksters attempt larger-than-life creative endeavors of their own. Charlie Todd will share the stories behind the group's mischievous missions—such as their annual "No Pants" subway ride and their synchronized swimming show in a public fountain—and encourage the audience to get in on the fun and add more joy and laughter to the world.
